Whilst the main focus and aim of this role is to be the standalone marketer for the business, the client has mentioned that they do all support in answering calls and therefore this would also be part of the role, but likely to be very small volumes. Full product training will be given, some of this will be in their European head office so some travel will be required.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with some general marketing to reduce the company using external marketing agencies for certain campaigns.
• This will involve things like designing flyers, assisting in writing press releases, social media updates and any additional marketing that you feel comfortable and confident in supporting with.
• Getting new products and examples into publications to boost reach.
• Writing articles for magazines.
• Attending exhibitions, both as an attendee as well as an exhibitor.
• Receiving requests for samples and arranging for them to be sent out – also creating first class samples brochures for those key accounts.
• Looking into awarding bodies to see what awards they can be considered for. They have already won many awards for the quality of their products.
• Receiving calls and emails from clients/ customers.
• Answering their queries and processing their orders into the CRM system.
• Sending out order confirmations and acknowledgments.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who is bright, dynamic and keen to be part of a growing business where you can add real value. From the marketing side, we are looking for someone who is confident in marketing and design, where you can come up with new ideas and know how to implement them. Hays are working with a growing business in Telford who are looking to appoint a Telemarketer on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As a Telemarketer your role will involve:

• As a Telesales Executive, you will be focusing on qualifying and booking appointments for our field sales team.
• You will be required to generate opportunities by contacting potential customers from our CRM database and manage your own pipeline.
• Achieve and exceed daily, weekly and monthly appointment targets and objectives.
• Listen to the needs of customer and help find a solution from our product portfolio.
• Focus on the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of appointment activity not just the quantity, closing ratio, conversion ratio, and booking with decision makers.
• Attend regular training sessions and sales days to improve your product knowledge and self-development.

What you'll need to succeed

• An excellent and personable communicator.
• Self-starter who is motivated by targets and incentives.
• Proven appointment booking experience.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates well with other teams, to provide a positive customer experience.
• Someone who is driven by hitting and overachieving targets.
• Build rapport with customers easily over the telephone.
• Can spot opportunities and capitalise on them quickly.
• IT Literate with proven experience of using CRM systems.
• Resilient and tenacious.
