Join BU Execution NAM/LAM within LPT Division - Strategy & Business Development Manager

Do you want to be the key driver of strategy and business development for the Business Unit Execution, NAM/LAM in the Liquid & Powder Technologies Division? We are looking for an experienced colleague that will help us identify and shape key strategic projects, look for areas for optimization as well as assess existing pipeline to ensure the continuous improvement and future growth of BU Execution NAM/LAM, LPT.

With a direct reporting line to the Senior Vice President, BU Execution NAM/LAM, LPT and as a member of the BU Leadership Team, you are instrumental in setting the agenda for the BU. We expect you to provide hands-on, sublime support on strategic initiatives and to help us grow the great potential of the business.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Drives short, medium- and long-term strategic agenda incl. development of templates, identification and implementation of strategic goals in cooperation with business area owners

• Aligns with business area owners on identification, prioritization, resourcing and funding of strategic initiatives

• Support the operating business in NAM/LAM with business intelligence regarding market, competition and customer (inkl. Stakeholder analysis) – and convey strategy concepts into business actions/roadmaps – inkl. tracking and reporting

• Develop and conduct best practice analysis for critical business processes, share it within the region and lead the implementation of optimization improvements

• Drive Sales pipeline (in CRM) and define actions and conclusions for business

• Other tasks assigned from the supervisor

• Facilitates workshops on specific strategy or business development related topics 

• Cooperates with business units, other LPT BUs and Divisions, Finance and other relevant partners to identify opportunities and risks

• Represents the business unit in corporate/transformational projects as well as M&A activities

• Represents the business unit in strategic/business development meetings with clients and external partners

• Aligns and secures support across business units, competence centers, divisions and functions

• Engages and champions the values and objectives of GEA

• Implement business strategic directions and initiatives (All)

• Account Management for key customers

• Cross-functional communication with Business Unit peers, Divisional heads, MDs, Finance and Corporate Development

• Influences decision making of senior management by providing recommendations and scenarios

• Makes decisions within portfolio of strategic initiatives (as project/program manager)

• Under the discretion of the Senior Vice President of the BU – makes decisions on behalf of the business unit in corporate projects

You may have a background as a consultant and possess strong facilitation skills for conducting workshops and presentations. Solid project management experience is a must and 5-7 years of experience from a similar role.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity and embrace changes to the scope of your role switching between strategic and operational topics.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is required

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or proven expertise gained by extensive work experience in relevant fields is preferred

We are seeking an experienced Government Partner Manager to join our Channel Sales team. You will manage the relationship between Autodesk and our Master Government Aggregator, and act as a liaison between the government channel landscape. Summary

The Sr Marketing Communications and Program Manager, Corporate Marketing partners with the CMO and OCMO Leadership Team to develop and execute the communication and change management strategies to support our strategic imperatives and needle movers. This leader is a thought partner to the OCMO bringing new concepts and ideas to drive marketing excellence by being tuned-in to the CMO office and the strategic direction the team is driving as well as keeping a pulse on what is happening in the macro-marketing world.  This team member challenges the organization to set the standard for disseminating messages, driving initiatives and imperatives to engage the marketing function in growth. They are also advanced project managers to help keep our initiatives on track and drive the logistics that make our communications flawless.  

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 

• Develop and execute the communication and change management strategy, supporting the strategic initiatives of the OCMO.  This includes but is not limited to:

• Creates and drives communications to the broad marketing community from the CMO or on behalf of the OCMO, the OCMO LT or the Marketing Leadership Team

• Listening, interpreting, collaborating and building content for the OCMO LT to communicate progress on key initiatives to targeted audiences (ie: EXLT, President’s Council and the broader marketing community)

• Measures and tracks progress against strategies to ensure change efforts embedding across organization

• Drive and manage the annual global marketing excellence awards program and global marketing meeting:

• Develop and execute the communication strategy and calendar to support to support the event objectives

• Collaborate with the marketing community to drive the right content aligned with the corporate, marketing and meeting strategy

• Manage all pre- and post-communications supporting the marketing award and GMM process

• Create and post daily meeting highlights

• Manage and summarize meeting feedback for continuous improvement

• Develop and post meeting content on the BD Way of Marketing Maxwell site

• Manage and coordinate quarterly global marketing town hall and annual global marketing meetings to deliver the key messages and timely content:

• Developing a motivating and compelling agenda in coordination with all OCMO LT teams

• Coordinating and scheduling the speakers and their content, including rehearsals

• Partnering with stakeholders to manage logistics and details of meetings to ensure meetings, large or small, run smoothly for speakers and attendees

The Cyber and Analytics Business of our National Security Sector has an opportunity for a Business Development managers to conduct business development activities for Navy Cyber opportunities.  The individual filling this position will be based out of our Columbia, Maryland office.  This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the breadth and depth of Leidos business with Navy Cyber.  The role requires an ethical approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities, comprehensive business acumen, technical understanding, resourcefulness, and outstanding business relationships.  This is a new business development position in the organization that will report to the Cyber Business Development Director. 

Primary Responsibilities:

The BD lead is directly responsible for contributing to the development and management of a robust qualified pipeline focused on CYBERCOM.  The qualified pipeline must be linked to both near and long-term business strategies that provide the business an opportunity to grow revenue. The position requires a high degree of responsibility; significant and lasting customer affinity; outstanding communication skills; the ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize against goals and objectives; discernment to manage the pipeline against the operation, group and corporate strategy; understanding of customer gaps and underlying Leidos IP to fill gaps; and the ability to develop new solutions, processes, and operational plans that position Leidos for positive outcomes in the target marketspace. • Partners with supervisors or corporate office regarding store issues

• Drives store sales which may include performing in all Five Below services (ear piercing, balloons, buy online pick up in store, etc.)

Essential Job Functions:

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Acts as the marketing core team lead on key cross-functional projects to maximize gross profit, increase penetration, and optimize our competitive and Go To Market approaches and efforts

• Acts as a global marketing lead for key regions, ensuring achievement of business targets and facilitating market development efforts within regions

• Responsible for Demand Governance across the platform to ensure consistent supply and capacity planning.  Serves as key liaison with all regions to proactively identify and resolve potential supply issues to deliver outstanding customer service

• Identifies key growth opportunities globally through close collaboration with regions to update and analyze data regarding market, competitive, and business trends

• Leads tender contract management in key regions which involves working with country and regional teams to manage customer offers and negotiations and ensure they align with Catheter Care’s strategy

• Partners with global marketing team to develop educational tools, programs and training to drive solution selling and clinical practice upgrades from manual to pre-filled flush syringes.  Develops budget impact tools and case studies that help to drive clinical practice upgrades

• Leads the development of a market assessment, business case and go to market strategies to enter the non-acute / home health care segment; a segment anticipated to drive significant incremental revenue growth in the next 5+ years for the Catheter Care Platform

Required knowledge and experience   

• Minimum of 3 years of business experience in the life science industry

• Minimum of 3 years in product and/or market management

• Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development

• Minimum: bachelor’s degree, MBA highly preferred

• Experience in Market Planning, Competitive Analysis, Pricing Strategy, Customer Insights/Analytics, Market Opportunity Assessment and Segmentation, and Go to Market and Commercialization strategies

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills; proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing and business strategies and plans

• Ability to develop comprehensive business cases with detailed financial analysis

• Action oriented with demonstrated ability to drive results

• Exhibits effective interpersonal communication skills, and can work internationally with diverse cultures.  Previous experience working with international teams is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities

• Ability to travel nationally and globally; 15-20%
