As our Sales Manager, your key-responsibilities will be:

• New Business Development: Drive and deliver new direct business and build a strong pipeline in alignment with the hotel’s strategic objectives. Ensure sales targets for corporate rooms, meetings & events (C&B), and annual marketing plans are achieved, with ROI tracking.
• Account Management: Take ownership of corporate rate negotiations for both LNR and KNR accounts. Maintain and develop a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and maximizing opportunities for the hotel.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales office to convert local and KNR-generated leads for groups and meetings. Provide sales support to the Director of Sales (DOS).

Your new role

The current tax service line consists of 7 tax advisers, and you will be working alongside an experienced Tax Advisory Senior Manager supporting a wide variety of businesses and owners. You will have your own portfolio of UK and international businesses, working with the business owners and gaining involvement with anything from mergers, corporate restructuring (demergers / share for share exchanges), exit planning and MBOs, Business Investment Relief and remittance planning, stamp duty land tax planning advice to name a few.This is a varied advisory role where your client exposure will be similar to that of a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice but with a wider breadth of advisory projects.

The Business Development Manager Role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager based at our Heywood site, using a consultative sales approach, you will develop a sales pipeline and convert new customers across the allocated territory.

This is a client acquisition-focused role, where you will identify, onboard, and develop new accounts, meeting stretching but achievable new business sales targets.
