Job Overview:
This role oversees a sales execution and enablement team that is focused on distributing LPL Business Solutions amongst LPL advisors and institutions. We are seeking an outstanding executive with a growth mindset, who leans into ambiguity, has a bias for action, and mobilizes teams to accelerate success.

Accountable for the sales, adoption, and top-line growth of our LPL Business Solutions suite of services through LPL’s storefronts

Wealth Management: CIO Services*
End-Client Engagement: Marketing Solutions, Digital Marketing Suite*, Brand Solutions*
Growth Strategy: Growth Coaching*, Advisor Institute

Business Structure & Legacy: Assurance Plan, Succession Consulting*
Manage the sales funnel using a data-driven approach, including identifying leads, nurturing interested clients, and driving through commitment, close, and onboarding
Execute key sales initiatives, including campaigns, referral programs, and conference execution
Dynamically re-prioritize team efforts based on changing market conditions and evolving client needs
Demonstrate team leadership that drives high performance, transparency, and partnership; coach team members to grow their sales acumen and engage effectively with clients
Partner with internal stakeholders to drive results, including Business Development, Relationship Management, and Business Solutions delivery teams
Serve as a client-facing “face” for Business Solutions, engaging in field engagements, LPL conferences, and high profile executive-level engagements
Demonstrate strong executive presence and ability to interact with and engage with advisors, financial institutions, and prospects
Partner with colleagues to bring new Business Solutions to market
Contribute to our go-to-market strategy, in partnership with LSG partners and Marketing
Design and evolve incentive compensation plans to drive desired business outcomes
Train and educate team on our industry, Business Solutions offerings, the competitive landscape, and sales tactics
Develop insights based on sales activities and identify opportunities to better serve our clients; serve as a “voice of the client” for colleagues & partners
What are we looking for?

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 - 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry
Significant external field sales experience with proven experience in execution of proactive sales strategy
Previous experience partnering with cross-functional teams and business leaders to manage, execute, and implement strategies that you designed
Previous experience managing a team and proven competencies to support a high-bar for talent management
Understanding of incentive compensation, including how to effective design sales goals
Experience consulting and understanding challenges/opportunities of small business owners, Institutions, RIAs, and Large Enterprises Groups
Effective management of escalated issues and ongoing sales dynamics to optimize results
Willingness to travel >50% of the time

Pay Range:
164,000-246,000/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. This position is also eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
