As the BI Analyst, you will be responsible for using BI tools to confirm process adherence and inform strategic decision making across the functional assessment service. Our strategy is to enable data-informed decision making across the services, creating the right solutions, driving automated analytics, whilst analysing our data to help identify opportunities to enable business performance. - end cycle of requirements gathering, report/dashboard development, analysing and interpreting the results to highlight insights for a variety of stakeholders and improving performance for our customer.You will be reporting directly into the Data and Insight Manager.
Your main responsibilities:
- Expertise – brings deep analyst experience to strengthen company, improve performance and adherence.
- Gathering and cleansing – Ability to gather a range of data from internal and external sources and cleanse this for a variety of stakeholders to use simply and effectively.
- Interpretation and insights – review existing or custom reports to identify performance trends, gaps and areas for improvement.
- Improvement – identification of areas for improvement in streamlining existing report mechanisms and methods for delivering information to stakeholders.
- Creation – ability to provide stakeholders with appropriate information in a variety of formats.
- Stakeholder management – build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of improvement products.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Ability to quickly understand new areas of business and technology enabling impactful and effective conversations with the stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience of development within business intelligence tools and tools such as Microsoft Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Strong data visualisation and presentation skills.
- Data manipulation skills, including ability to extract, transform, and analyse data sets using BI tools.
- Ability to problem solve, break down complex issues and develop solutions based on findings in the data.
- Able to simply communicate complex issues, processes, and data to a non-technical audience.
- High customer focus with commercial awareness and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent attention to detail and self-starter attitude
