Internal Role Title: Post Sales Services Officer (Leasehold)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £28,694 to £35,867 per annum (salary offered anywhere between this scale, dependent upon your experience)
Contract: Maternity cover for up to 12 months
Location: Dartford
You will be providing Pre- Sales services to our New Homes Team, ensuring that valuations and price lists are kept up to date and our sales exposure is monitored. You will also provide Post Sales services to homeowners including lease extensions, notices, home improvements and management packs.
We are big advocates for hybrid working, so you will split your time between working from home and from our Dartford office.

You will be:
• Ensuring that that price lists for all new build shared ownership schemes are produced in readiness for marketing purposes to enable off plan sales. Valuations must be requested before expiry and any amendments to price lists completed within timescales.
• Requesting updated valuations for new build properties before expiry, ensuring any drop in values are notified to the Director of Programme and Post Sales Services.
• Raising all Capital Payments for Development contracts, ensuring that all payments are made within required timescales.
• Granting authorisation for home improvements and other works to properties where Moat have an interest, ensuring the correct process is followed to reduce risks for Moat.
• Providing leasehold management packs as required for all leaseholders, ensuring that all information is correct and acquired within timescales from colleagues around the business.
• Dealing with lease extension enquiries and handle lease extension cases from application through to completion.
• Leading on the Notice processes for Shared Owners, Leaseholders and Freeholders. To ensure that they are receipted and returned within timescales, also providing the necessary certificates (if applicable).
We are on the lookout for someone who has:
• A good standard of education, with excellent written English.
• Awareness of the Capital Funding Guide
• An understanding of the house purchase / shared ownership system.
• An ability to work methodically and consistently, with good attention to detail.
• An awareness of leasehold management.
In addition, the following would be beneficial but aren’t essential:
• Good knowledge of the social housing sector.
• A good understanding of leasehold management.
• An understanding of various clauses within a lease.
• An understanding of the valuation process.
