About the Role: As a Business Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our new business initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment. Reporting to Senior Management, you will interact with both external customers and internal departments to ensure smooth processing and completion of business proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle new business enquiries, keeping all stakeholders informed of proposal progress.
• Manage the administrative life cycle of business opportunities from proposal to payout.
• Perform FCA and DPA checks to ensure compliance.
• Conduct credit checks and prepare opportunities for Credit review.
• Generate accurate documentation for seamless payouts.
• Perform telephone delivery checks with customers and suppliers.
• Update in-house systems and ensure accurate data entry for the Customer Services Team.
• Document and process all payments/commissions as required.
• Provide general office administration support, including handling calls, emails, and filing.

Your new role will involve assisting with financial controls to achieve operating within a balanced budget each financial year. You will business partner with senior stakeholders and the wider business to support commercial business and strategic decisions. You will effectively handle all queries from key budget holders and proactively help manage expenditure and income in the areas of the Council including costings, analysis of data and the production of business plans. You will be either AAT qualified or part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA). Your new role

You will need to be self-motivated and have a customer-focused approach to dealing with problems, demonstrating previous experience in analysing & documenting business requirements. Whilst having excellent verbal and written communication, clear logical thinking skills and being able to manage multiple projects at anyone time. Additionally, you'll have a good understanding of project lifecycles and application support would be beneficial to be successful in this role
