Salary: £41,386 - £44,790 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: The Strategic Improvement Team , within The Highland Council’s ICT & Transformation Services, co-ordinates and delivers a wide range of improvement programmes and projects. These are driven both by the Council’s Delivery Plan and respective strategies covering Digital, Data & ICT as well as Service-driven business outcomes to support frontline service delivery.
The post holder will work as part of the Digital Hub (acting as a centre of excellence for Digital), within the Strategic Improvement Team, supporting the implementation of the Council’s Digital, Data & ICT Strategies. The role requires external engagement with strategic partners and suppliers, collaborative working alongside the Council’s business units and the wider Transformation programme, facilitating strategic Service led planning in order support the identification and development of opportunities leading to the improvement of business processes and functions.

Requirements
Relevant proven experience that demonstrates a similar level of knowledge and understanding; and/or
Educated to degree level in a numerate/business/digital and technology related subject; and/or
Relevant industry specific qualification(s).
Experience of working in a project team using formal project management techniques, such as PRINCE 2 or Agile.
