This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work in the Council Building in 2 High Street. Perth, within Business Services supporting Services for Children, Young People & Justice.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Business Assistant with excellent customer service skills who is keen to embrace the variety of work that happens within this small team.

The type of core skills we are looking from you are, for example:

• Knowledge and experience of working with MS Office 365
• Excellent typing/word processing skills (including formatting reports which can contain detailed information relating to young people and their family circumstance)
• Working on databases i.e. updating social work records on the social care system
• Placing orders through the Council’s PECOS system and process invoices for payment
• Assisting in events management
• Assisting in managing equipment

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have exciting opportunities available for customer-focused and sales-driven individuals to join our Travel Centre team based in our Perth or Adelaide office. This position offers the flexibility to work across a 7-day roster cycle as well as work-from-home options after passing probation.

Your primary responsibility would be to provide a full travel experience service that goes beyond our guests’ expectations.

As a Travel Sales Consultant, you are the start of our guests’ journey of a lifetime.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Initially, your time will be spent getting to know our team, learning about our amazing products, using our booking systems, and buddying up with one of our talented Travel Sales Consultants.

·         You will offer exceptional customer service to assist our guests with their holiday of a lifetime through our various communication platforms including over the phone, via email or on webchat.

·         Using your creativity and passion for the tourism industry, you will provide our guests with a suite of information relating to our products and offer personalised solutions and package options depending on our guests needs.

·         You will be an expert in your field and a product ambassador, all while working towards and achieving your individual plus team KPI's.
