Project Management:

• Plans, develops, implements, communicates, and tracks project plans, guidelines, budgets, procedures, and timetables.
• Organizes, implements, communicates, and tracks assigned project plans, guidelines, budgets, procedures and timetables including recommending changes in project policy and management activities.
• Assists with management studies to evaluate and measure the progress, and success of projects assigned and to identify and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational programs and activities.
• Collects pertinent statistical data and narrative information from various sources within and outside NSF, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvements to databases, data gathering, analytical methods, and interactions with Principal Investigators (PIs)/reviewers.

• Works collaboratively with other team members to restructure work processes, standardize procedures, and manage changes across supported organizations.
• Assists Program Directors (PDs) and organizational leadership in technical aspects of preparing for Committee of Visitors (COVs) and other site visits including data collection, data analysis, literature searches, and web-based queries.
• Collects and formats data for analysis and information sharing; conducts moderately complex quantitative and qualitative analyses; presents data for program analysis; and drafts and submits required reports.

• Assists in identifying necessary resources, including funding, staff, and equipment, for providing administrative support to assigned projects.
• Performs a variety of assignments in the areas of budget analysis, formulation, monitoring, financial management and reporting, in accordance with federal budgeting regulations, procedures, and methods.
• Reviews requests for purchases to determine if all required financial accounting and justification information has been completed (i.e. justifications for expenditure of funds, verification of account number, object classification codes). May serve as a VISA Cardholder.
• Ensures compliance with financial management regulations and policies in all assigned areas.

• Conducts program analysis including Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) reporting.
• Assists PDs and leadership in developing outreach plans by identifying target audiences, preparing materials (e.g., presentations, tutorials) for outreach and site visit activities, and evaluating their effectiveness.

• Plans, directs, and initiates the development, administration and implementation of marketing, Public Relations, and sponsorship programs for the MCMO. 
• Ensures special considerations and favored treatment are not provided to sponsors except for the public recognition and advertising entitlements addressed in the agreements. 
• Assists the MCMO Deputy Director and branch managers by producing marketing and sponsorship strategies in the development for various programs for the MCM and its event series. 
• Manages and supervises the daily work performance of the Marketing and Graphics sections in the MCMO structure including public relations/media and social media component programs, to include website management, Facebook posts and Twitter feeds. 
• Prepares and presents creative concepts and marketing plans and provides day to day management of commercial sponsorship programs for the MCMO. Researches, solicits, and sells commercial sponsorship partnerships for all MCMO races and sub events. 
• Targets commercial business areas or categories enhancing the MCMO and meet the market and sales¿ goals of prospective sponsors.  Effectively communicates information using state of the art equipment. 
• Prepares and creates marketing plans and concepts.  Develops, writes and produces a wide variety of advertising media.  Develops implements and monitors a limited and controlled commercial sponsorship program and strategies for the MCMO to assist in the competitiveness of the MCM and its races series.  Creates draft sponsorship agreements, follow auditing guidelines, and submits for review by Legal Counsel prior to acceptance. 
• Monitors the usage of registered trademarks, the MCM name, the MCM logos on the ¿The People¿s Marathon¿ and several events series trademarks. Ensuring reviews of agreements for use plus quality control enforcement of standards for use.  Plans, organizes, and implements MCMO events entertainment and ceremonial function. 
• Oversees and manages Media planning, coordination, and coverage for the MCMO races.  May function as announcer for the MCM, Marine Corps Historic Half and event series races as needed. 
• Conducts marketing research including surveys, demographics, needs assessments, focus groups and pricing reviews.  Develops and presents presentation to prospective sponsors using state of the art equipment and software. Develops and manages the Marketing budget for the MCMO.  Ensures fiscal accountability of all sponsorship, partnerships and licensing agreements and works directly with MCCS Sponsorship Coordinator, Marine Corps Base, and Quantico. 
• May be required to travel to attend MCMO races, meetings, and expos to promote races and events by attending other race expos to set up booths with MCMO race materials to promote MCMO race series by handing out MCMO materials, speaking to runners about MCMO races and events, and soliciting vendors to participate in races. 
• Prepares for MCMO races and events & observes race practices within the running industry to learn how they prepare, plan and execute races.
• May be required to stand for extended periods of times at expos handing out materials and speaking with runners and vendors about MCMO races.

YOUR ROLE
This role is part of a team responsible for supporting the USLI Customer and Associate Experience. This role will focus on supporting the Direct-to-consumer and agent assisted Sales/New Business experiences as they interact with our digital assets to navigate through the New Business sub-journey. These projects will leverage Scrum/Agile delivery. This role will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate said requirements into user stories for execution with one-to-many agile teams all while advocating on behalf of the customer and producer to provide a simple, effortless and empowered experience. Additional

The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $77,600 up to the maximum of $128,000.  In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation.  The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization

Product Marketing Manager responsibilities include:

• Assist with driving the demand for and adoption of a product among existing customers.

• Identify user personas and target audiences for the proposed new products.

• Assist in creating, managing, and implementing the product marketing strategy.

• Work with the stakeholder engagement team to attract and inform users of new products.

• Work with teams to ensure the products meet the needs of the userbase.

• Work with the Program Office to create and tell the story of HSIN products.

• Analyze market and competition data to recommend products that match and surpass current industry standards.

• Collaborate with internal program leadership to work on product requirements.

• Assist in conducting customer research and market assessments.

• Assist in developing product strategy and roadmap.

What You Will Need:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.

• Bachelor’s Degree

• SEVEN (7) or more years of experience in marketing and/or communications

• Robust understanding of data, digital and automation impact for public safety and/or law enforcement solutions with focus on the future.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

• Master’s Degree

• Change Management Practitioner (CMP)

• Certified SCRUM Master (CSM)

• Ability to work with stakeholders in an iterative manner to deliver solutions using an agile methodology.

• Analytical, logical, and interpretive ability at a management level to develop scenarios, express concepts or models and make the decisions required to optimize value across a broad scope.

• Ability to influence a data driven mindset, driving a culture of collaboration, innovation, and best-practice to be a ‘Force Multiplier’.

• Demonstrated ability to source and lead the formation and execution of successful partnerships between and across major stakeholders.

• Ability to influence and motivate a team of specialists across a variety of functions to establish and deliver capabilities at the scale and pace necessary to enable the agency or client’s strategy.

• Experience with the creation, coordination, execution, and evangelism of product-based data-driven initiatives.

• Proven ability to collaborate with audiences with a wide range of business or technical knowledge and at different levels of an organization, from the Senior Executives to data analysts.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to build a diverse network.

• Effective collaboration skills with the ability to build, unify and motivate virtual teams.

• Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
