How you will make a difference @ FARO:

• Act as a backup for the 3rd/4th Level Support within Customer Service

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Sales Executive, Vertical Form Fill & Seal and Flow Wrapping grows BW Flexible Systems business in assigned territories by securing new machinery orders.  This position is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that will continue to expand the client base and foster customer loyalty within the territory.  The Sales Executive will create and implement both short- and long-term sales objectives and strategies that will meet the needs of the customer, increase market share, increase machinery orders and maximize product servicing. This is accomplished by working within the global corporate structure of BW Flexible Systems, the wider Barry-Wehmiller Packaging Platform, and with our customers in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri.  This position also works with the sales leadership team to research markets and establish strategic directions for growing BW Flexible Systems sales with named key accounts in target industries within North America.  The VFFS & Flow Wrapping Sales Executive encourages others to discover, develop and apply their talents to reach their full potential and actively engages in our Lean journey by building and acting on continuous improvement and development opportunities. 

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Secure new machinery orders for BW Flexible Systems VFFS and Flow
  Wrapping machinery, feed systems, and turn-key integrated packaging line projects that meet or exceed assigned quota

• Responsible for key accounts within a specific target industry, such as Bakery, Confectionary, Pharma/Medical, Non-food, Frozen, Cheese or Protein

• Maintain contact with current and potential customers by building strong relationships and supplying product information to increase the likelihood of future sales orders

• Research regional, client and industry information, analyze industry and client specific data and create and execute account specific strategies and tactics.

• Provide detailed information regarding customer requirements, specifications, applications, etc. so accurate and timely sales proposals are produced for the customer when requested

• Keep abreast of competitive and customer activity along with customer needs, and communicate information to the appropriate individuals within the company, so strategic decisions can be made to increase the company’s competitive edge in the marketplace

• Assists in the resolution of customer claims and ensures resolution of customer complaints following department policy 

• Support and actively utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of all contacts, activity reports, opportunities and competitive information for prospects, customers, and competitors

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering, or technical degree with significant proven industry experience

EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of five years of business-to-business sales experience with capital equipment or packaging industry-related items

• Solid knowledge of and experience with various types of packaging machinery and systems used in the food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries

• Technical or sales experience with complex feed systems and/or flow-wrapping machinery

• Key account management experience with major consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies

• Experience in packaging machinery wholesale business model working with distributors, re-sellers, agents, and lead finders

What you'll Do

As our Sales Admin, you will work directly with Sales on one or more of the following: support sales efforts including collateral development, research, and follow-up. Provides tactical support to Sales on phases of the sales cycle including deal closure, quote preparation, opportunity management, and/or contracts. Serves as a liaison to develop combined sales administration approach with sales and other partners (vendors) involved in the sales process. About Government Markets at Blue Cross NC 
Government Markets is responsible for sales, retention, market strategy, pricing, and product and segment performance. The division is also responsible for our sales contact centers and retail stores for both the Government Markets and Commercial Markets Divisions.

Our government product segments include Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, the Federal Employee Program, and Healthy Blue (Medicaid).

As a Medicare Sales Consultant, you will be working in the field. In this role, you will work to foster relationships with key community centers of influence, primarily those within the dual-eligible population (those eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid). Internally, you will work with our DSNP and direct sales teams where you will be engaged to provide in-person support for any community events or home visit requests. Throughout the year, this position is tasked with following up with targeted direct mail campaigns through both inbound and outbound calls, as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for selling Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D products.

• Educate customers so they can make health care decisions.  Analyze the needs of individual customers and find/recommend products to meet those needs.
