Job Description
A vacancy has arisen in our Planning Information and Delivery Team for an Information and Research Officer.
The post offers a variety of information and research work in support of colleagues in Planning and Economy and other Council Services, dealing with a wide range of challenging issues for the Council and its partners.
You will contribute to maintaining a corporate information and research capability based within Planning and Economy.
You should have a relevant degree, research and data analysis skills, a high level of computer literacy and the ability to manage complex databases, evaluate information and prepare reports. Customer service is an important aspect of the team’s work.
Relevant experience in the public sector, private sector, or academia would be advantageous, as would be knowledge and experience of data sets relating to the labour market and specific sectors of the economy.
This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 31/05/2025.
The interviews are expected to be held on 31/07/24.
