R&D Administrative Coordinator
Position Purpose:
As the administrative coordinator for The Purina Animal Nutrition Center in Gray Summit, MO you will be providing support to the Senior Research Team and the overall facility. We are looking for a self-motivated and self-directed individual who can work with multiple teams and enjoys a wide range of responsibilities in fast paced work environment.
Duties include:
- Managing content for digital applications for multiple species groups.
- Maintaining access to digital applications, platforms, and tools that support sales and technical groups.
- Act as the administrative support for the facility IACUC including scheduling and SharePoint site content.
- Coordinate weekly update meeting for the Tech Innovation group.
- Coordinate on-site and off-site meetings for technical groups.
- Work on organization of Purina Recruiting events for Technical Innovations.
- Work with the Ariba system for paying invoices and generating PO as needed.
- Work on travel arrangements and expense reports as needed.
- Schedule and plan farm events several times per year.
- Additional work will be assigned as needed.
Experience-Education (Required):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years office/administrative experience
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite products.
Competencies-Skills (Required):
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in learning about animal agriculture and the feed industry.
- Must be agile and adept at multi-tasking and changing directions quickly.
- Strong customer orientation and attention to detail.
Experience-Education (Preferred):
- Associate degree preferred.
- Understanding of animal agriculture preferred.
