The HSSW team report to the Biomedical Scientists who are responsible operationally for the Biochemistry Laboratory service. Duties include stock control of reagents, analyser maintenance, processing quality control samples and external quality assurance material. Working to standard operating procedures at all times. Performing manual testing procedures. Entering test results on to the laboratory information system Assisting with UKAS accreditation Dealing politely and effectively with phone calls,. Liaising with company engineers and other service users.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for aLead Practitioner - Sciencefor January 2025and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers who are passionate about science and have a proven track record of exceptional outcomes at GCSE and A Level.

You will be joining a very passionate and effective team of teachers and leaders who work collaboratively to implement a digital IB curriculum with carefully planned interdisciplinary links with other departments.
