To promote studies to clinical teams within the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Trust (NSFT) and to non-NHS partners. To attend public events and mental health and dementia carer groups to talk about research opportunities. To contact people who have signed up to hearing more about research opportunities via our REACH database. To support the Research Nurses to identify suitable participants for studies. To arrange appointments to see participants either at home, in clinic or remotely. To take informed consent and carry out study related procedures where appropriate to the role. To carry out treatments, assessments and follow-ups as necessary in accordance with research protocols including physiological (e.g., blood samples) and psychological measurements. To undertake study specific training as required. To assist with the creation and maintenance of study specific site files. To use electronic patient/participant files, study specific databases and on-line data entry systems. To work at all times according to Good Clinical Practice, Research Governance and Trust guidelines. To attend team meetings and study-specific meetings to provide updates about study progress and any recruitment challenges. To maintain a working knowledge of relevant mental health practice. To cover duties of other research staff where appropriate to role when required.
