RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements.
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements.
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Summary:

Senior Actuarial Consultant responsible for developing accurate and timely financial analysis for clients. The Senior Analytics Consultant will work closely and collaboratively with the Regional Leaders and various colleagues throughout the field offices, to support the National Clients .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Assist clients and teams in defining underwriting, contribution and plan design strategies.
• Employ effective project management skills for balancing requests from multiple Client Teams, and for the efficient delivery of results.

• Follow and maintain all Actuarial Standards of Practice and stay current with Actuarial studies.

Base Pay Range: $140k-$170k

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. • Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with the MSL compliance standards

Contributes to the achievement of corporate goals through D-SNP product, program, market engagement and/or marketing communications strategies. Initiatives may include new products or business partnerships to grow revenue beyond traditional sources as well as identification of market engagement, marketing communications and/or other programs to address market needs of duals in the most cost-effective manner. Leverages D-SNP industry experience and expertise to promote enterprise understanding of the key areas in which the company is seeking to create competitive differentiation and establish sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
This role includes collaboration with both internal and external partners to operationalize our D-SNP program to achieve our desired member experience, improved health outcomes, quality, and compliance with both state and federal regulations. External partners may include the state of NC and partners who support delivery of member services on the D-SNP product. This role will be the SME on D-SNP product and Federal D-SNP requirements.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for overall growth and oversight of performance across key levers

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement D-SNP product, program, market engagement and/or marketing communications strategies to meet Blue Cross NC’s growth objectives. 

• Support and manage development efforts related to the enhancement and maintenance of our current D-SNP products, programs and market offer components.

• Collaborate with Medicare product development, sales, community engagement, and marketing to execute on membership growth strategies (sales/retention) including an annual go to market strategy, 10/1 sales readiness and retention/member engagement strategies

• Review  customer and consumer insights and collaborate with product development team to create  holistic D-SNP strategies, programs and plans that effectively drive business outcomes and maximize ROI (segmentation, product design, communication preferences, messaging strategy and measurement plans/learnings).
