Location: We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our core locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), London, Manchester, Edinburgh or Darlington, and working between office and remote throughout the week.
Salary: £55,803 - £67,270 plus up to £7,500 skills allowance
Working Patterns: Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time, Compressed hours

We’re looking for a forward-thinking individual with a passion for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to join our Collection & Ingestion team, offering technical leadership and helping to support & develop new technology in Google Cloud Platform that integrates with our Blaise 5 software and enables ONS to collect our survey data. You will also get involved with modernising our survey software and migrating our surveys to the cloud.
As an experienced professional, you have the ability to design, develop and implement test scripts, providing automated testing frameworks to support functional & non-functional testing. In addition, you’re comfortable establishing design patterns, designing & reviewing complex systems, coordinating & testing integration across various systems and analysing & optimising processes.
Beyond this, you can demonstrate expertise in using a range of programming languages and frameworks, as well as building infrastructure-as-code.
