About the role

As Work Opportunities Executive, you will focus on early careers (internships, Early Careers Development programme) and skills development opportunities. You will help to ensure that we offer a range of equitable access points into our workforce by closely managing existing project plans, ensuring milestones are met and successes are monitored and reported on. You will ensure participants get the most out of the programmes; are supported to learn, grow and develop.

About you

Due to the nature of the work delivered, you will bring an understanding and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion to the role. You will have experience of promoting inclusion and diversity in practice either professionally, or personally. As a highly organised individual, you will have been involved in delivering projects within timescales and to brief. Fundraising Events Manager

About us

The Fundraising and Partnerships Team are aiming to achieve an income target of £11.3 million by devising and delivering events that give our prospective and current donors an outstanding experience of the Science Museum Group.

We are now recruiting for a Fundraising Events Manager on a permanent, full-time contract working 35 hours per week.

This role can be based at any of our sites: Science Museum in London, Science and Industry Museum in Manchester, National Railway Museum in York, National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, with hybrid working also included.

About the role

As Fundraising Events Manager, you will develop and deliver a series of cultivation and stewardship events that attract, engage and retain high value supporters across all of our museums.

You will be working collaboratively with the Head of Supporter Engagement to ensure the planning and delivery of all events is seamless and supports the goals of the Fundraising and Partnerships team. Whilst also building good working practices with external suppliers and contractors local to each site to ensure value for money and high standards.

About you

What skills and experience we're looking for

Further to the duties and responsibilities listed within the Main Pay Scale Job Description for all teachers at the School, and initially, the post holder is responsible to the Head of Department/Leadership Group Line Manager/Headteacher and any other designated Line Manager(s) for the following:

This is a unique opportunity for a Research Coordinator to help grow the clinical trials service both in terms of volume and quality and support a novel multi-site study for patients with COPD.

The post holder will be involved in ensuring that any research undertaken within the department safeguards the wellbeing of the patients and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP), Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Research Governance Framework.

The post holder will support the senior trials manager and RAPID trials manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of this novel multi-site research study.

The post holder will collaborate closely with a dynamic, multidisciplinary research team to execute this portfolio study.
