The Patient Access and Scheduling Representative is primarily responsible for assisting patients through scheduling, pre-registration, front desk management, check-in, registration, check-out, as well as patient flow management. The Representative is accountable for creating and verifying accurate demographic and financial information in the financial and clinical record system through telephone or face-to-face contact. The Representative is expert in maintaining accurate, up-to-date demographic and financial information on each patient served. The Representative verifies information through patient-supplied materials or on-line verification as provided by the organization. The Representative communicates health benefit information including the organization’s Discount Policy and financial obligations to patients served. The Representative has primary responsibility for answering all phone calls and requests made to the area of responsibility. The Representative is primarily responsible for securing and maintaining a highly effective and productive clinic schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• One year customer service

• Communication skills required to interview patients and families, to gather and exchange information with other hospital staff members, physicians, third party payors and resource persons

• Concise written communication skills

• Proficient in use of computer hardware and software

The Supply Chain Manager of Perioperative and CV/IR Services is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring and directing supply chain activities within the Operating Room and Cath Lab/IR departments. They are primarily responsible for supporting operations through inventory management and fostering a collaborative environment between supply chain and the clinical team members.

Supervises- Supply Coordinator of Perioperative Services and Distribution Tech’s assigned to Cath Lab/IR and OR 

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant business field or the equivalent in a combination of education and experience.

• Three years inventory control experience in a hospital setting that includes work in the OR and inventory or materials management.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a high stress, demanding clinical environment.

• Superior customer service skills. 

• Ability to work with others at all levels and background Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an OR, or Emergency Room as a nurse, tech or similar role.
