Job Summary
The Medical Global Supply Chain Execution team is responsible for managing the IT relationship between Cardinal Health business and IT teams. The team is part of a companywide SAP Center of Excellence (COE) where individuals will collaborate with other SAP teams supporting different business segments which provides the opportunity to learn and develop best practice and cutting-edge functionality in SAP S4. In addition, the team supports business partners located across the globe providing the opportunity to learn country unique processes while working with a diverse group of professionals. The role is responsible for both tactical project execution and determining strategic opportunities for improving business processes through IT functionality within the SAP S4 environment. Due to the team’s broad band of support, individuals in this role will be exposed to several different SAP modules and will have endless opportunities to cross train and expand their personal SAP S4 knowledge.
- Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
- Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
- Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
- Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
- Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
- Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
- Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop business process knowledge and able to apply the knowledge to development of software functionality and related documentation
- Participates in conversations with business to understand requirements and works with leads to identify options
- Planning and support within SAP S4 procurement processes and procedures
- Create configurations within SAP S4 MM and SAP PTP to support supply chain processes and procedures
- Referencing and reviewing T-codes
- Collaborate with other EIT teams as needed in performing the support activities
- Communicate effectively to business partners and other supporting teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 4-6 years in SAP and experience with strong knowledge of functional processes preferred
- Functional PTP SAP knowledge preferred
- SAP MM (Materials Management) module preferred
- SAP Procurement experience preferred
- SAP Connections/Interfaces using ALE or middleware preferred
- Experience with creating configurations within the PTP and MM modules. LE knowledge preferred
- Understanding and creating configurations needed to enable PTP processes preferred
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written preferred

Anticipated salary range: $92,100 - $131,600
