As a SECURITY SPECIALIST at the GS-0080-11 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serve as Special Security Representative (SSR) demonstrating knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) administrative security, to include information security, information systems security, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) security, technical security, personnel security, industrial security, and special activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices to assist managers in establishing and operating internal security programs.
- Develop, analyze, and evaluate Special Security/SCI security programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, command policies, and improve internal operating procedures.
- Establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
