About the role
The Supply Chain Planning Lead will report to Head of Supply Chain Management, India & SEA and will play an important role to innovate and maintain an effective business planning process across multiple functions. Core responsibilities include optimising supply for our strategic distributor partners.
The role will require you to partner with multiple functions such as Sales, Marketing and the Region Supply Planning team. As such, the ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly both upstream and downstream is the key driver of success for the role. By navigating a large matrix structure successfully this role will focus on getting results in a fast-moving environment, holding accountability for supply availability and supply chain KPIs and significantly contributing to the growth of the SEA market.
Accountabilities
- Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs.
- Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders to review forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues.
- Monitor weekly and monthly supply plans, prioritising orders.
- Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory.
- Review supplies to ensure quality, monitor supply pipeline and maintain accessibility to information for PO service adherence at 100%.
- Build relationships with transportation, warehouse supervisors, and co-workers to achieve higher performance.
- Build Power BI reports & advance excel trackers.
- Develop and monitor internal and external key performance indicators including forecast accuracy and PO attainment scorecard metrics.
- Design and create new tools / reports to help improve the planning functions of supply chain.
- Engage in continuous improvement as it relates to processes and material availability.
About you
- Degree in a Supply Chain or related quantitative/business discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in high end consumer goods or electronics manufacturer.
- Prior Experience in Supply planning is highly preferred
- Experience in SAP IBP or equivalent system is preferred.
- Strong hands-on capability in all aspects of the Planning-demand and supply and inventory management.
- Well-developed financial skills, in particular the ability to develop, manage and optimize budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to constraints and respond constructively to new demands and challenges.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
