Rombola Family Farms has a great opportunity for energetic and organised individuals to join the team as Truck Drivers at both of our operation at Mataranka in the Northern Territory.

The role of the truck driver is to transport Rombola Family Farms produce. The position will require to load and unload goods, troubleshooting mechanical issues, change tyres, and conduct repairs.
Key operational accountabilities include:
• Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices.
• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles.
• Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely.
• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage.
• Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
• At least three years related experience and may have, or be undertaking, AQF Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc).
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Initiative and integrity.
• Team player.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
• A relevant truck driver licence.
