Protec Fire Detection PLC in Nelson are recruiting for an Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentice. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Warehouse and Logistics qualification which will take approximately14 months to complete.

Duties:
- Ensure H&S and environmental considerations are at the forefront of decision making & reflected in daily operations.
- Ensure the safe and efficient storage of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products in on-site warehousing facilities and in accordance with company procedures and H&S regulations.
- Maintain good working relations through effective communication within the department and with others to achieve company & departmental objectives.
- Flexible working across all roles within the warehouse such as: Goods inwards, Returns, Picking, Packing, Despatch Co-ordination.

Requirements:
Age 18+

IT skills
The interview process will include a tour of the warehouse and experience at height in a FLT.

Grades:
English and Maths GCSE Level 4+

Hours
Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm, 55 Minutes break per day, 40 hours per week

LED Electrical in Nelson are recruiting for an Apprentice Supply Chain Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship over the duration of 15 months.

Job Details:
• Preparing and picking orders for delivery or collection both accurately and timely
• Goods receiving warehouse products and physically re-stocking items
• Performing warehouse inventory audits when requested
• Keep a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse in line with our Health & Safety standards
• Update the procurement team on low running stock or incorrect stock
• Operate the warehouse machinery safely and in line with our Health & Safety standards
• Be available to take courses that allow you to safely operate fork lift trucks and other lifting machinery if required

The school & your role
You could be joining a specialist school for young people with special education needs. Every member of the team has a common goal to empower the young people through learning so they can achieve their goals and a positive future in a safe, caring environment.

Your role would be to provide safe, transportation for pupils driving a 9-Seater Minibus.
You will transport them from their accommodation to the school and home again when school finishes. You will always ensure the health & safety of the pupils as well as inspecting and maintaining the company vehicle.
