The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Sortie Generation Flight (SGF) Chief, exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate employees engaged in ground handling, servicing, inspection, condition evaluation, test and repair of assigned and transient aircraft. Trains reservists in the duties and responsibilities set forth herein.

DUTIES:

- Administers Installation GMV Licensing Function and Installation Vehicle Misuse Program. Performs Operator Records and Licensing functions within the TVO office issuing and updating GMV licenses for personnel across JBSA.

- Drives buses, tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds to include wrecker/recovery vehicles, and one or more electric, LPG, or diesel-powered forklift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties. May be required to transport bulky and unwieldy items.

- Maintains records and documents actions. Properly completes operator/customer inspections checklists, forms and accident/incident reports as required.
