We are currently seeking an interim Global Supplier & Supply Manager to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position will initially be based in Ransomes Dock, Battersea, London however however the company plans to move to High Holborn, London by end of 2024 (there is also the option to be based in Liverpool for this role, if preferred). This is a full-time temporary role for 3 months (with the potential this can extend to 6 months), requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying between £54,000 - £60,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

• Responsible for setting-up seamless EB-Supplier collaboration process with Strategic Suppliers

Key Requirements

• Experience in Supply Chain across Plan, Service and Deliver.

Your new role
Your main responsibilities as the Supply Chain lead would be to act as the main point of contact for Regional SNO, coordinating on supply, demand and critical issues for the market which is Western Europe and Canada. You will also be the relationship manager for the 3PL accountable for excellent service and adherence to KPIs so communication is key in this role across such a large geographical area.

A successful candidate will need to have great knowledge of the legislation and regulations within the pharmaceutical industry whilst also having experience in ERP systems. You will also need experience managing demand as well as managing a 3PL.Alongside this, you will also have to be a great communicator in order to manage all key stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding outbound goods, coordinating transport and delivery schedules.
• Track and report on key supply chain metrics, using data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to minimise transportation and warehousing costs while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure that all supply chain activities adhere to safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Direct and monitor the performance of supply chain staff, ensuring alignment with company goals.


Qualifications
• Degree in International Business, Project/Program Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Industry experience in supply chain operations and distribution management.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics operations.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The rate is £28.00ph PAYE

The successful candidate will undertake day-to-day operational production management and upkeep supply assurance and insight work including financial systems, analytics and supply maintenance work of a more complex nature demonstrating your advanced level skills.

They should have the ability to operate processes and systems with a business partner approach, flagging concerns as necessary.

Activity will include, but is not limited to, commercial analysis and management information, demonstrating high level skills and creativity and imaginative thinking with proper consideration of governance, regulation and law across the breadth of specialist disciplines within the service and supporting the organisational need:

• Audit control lists, reports and actions, updating service management as needed
• Benchmarking and market research, presented and summarised qualitatively
• Business benefit realisation tracking and analysis
• Categorising, prioritising and assessing organisational needs, capabilities and gaps
