Responsibilities include:
To work corporately, collaboratively and in keeping with the ethos of the company.
Working as part of the Business Team, to ensure the Company complies with Employment Legislation and to deliver a robust, consistent HR function across all departments.
To lead and manage the efficient and effective operational provision of the HR service within the Company.
To provide professional HR consultancy support and advice to the Executive, Senior Leadership Teams, Managers and Administrators
To provide line management support to those undertaking HR functions, including the provision of guidance and training on all HR related matters.
To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory matters.
To ensure compliance with employment legislation, Company policies and procedures.
Work proactively to prevent matters, wherever possible, escalating to formal process.
To ensure compliance with equality legislation, advising on measures to address inconsistencies to minimise the risk of the Company’s exposure to litigation and employment tribunal claims.
To keep Senior Managers informed of relevant HR issues, preparing, and presenting HR reports, as required
To manage recruitment processes, adhereing to Safer Recruitment guidelines
