We're on the hunt for a Customer Service Advisor/Driver to join our new site in Chelmsford, who's as passionate about great service as we are! This is a multi-skilled role covering all areas of our branch, giving you opportunity to learn and develop within the team.

Working Hours: 42.5 per week - 7.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

Key Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, manage stock control and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Pick and prepare customer orders in our warehouse and load onto customer and delivery vehicles

• Delivery orders to our customers sites, using a 3.5t van around the Chelmsford area

• Keep the branch and yard/warehouse looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• Valid UK driving license (no more than 6 points) is a requirement of this role

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

• Experience in a customer facing environment

• IT literate and a strong communicator

• Passion for working with people with a positive can-do attitude

Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: This position is covering the local and the surrounding area.
Salary: £17.50ph with an exceptional career progression plan to increase your base salary. Any overtime worked is around £25 per hour! + London waiting
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours, with shifts falling between 8am and 5pm, (up to 8pm in the summer months) with 1 in 4 Saturdays, paid at time and a half!

Responsible for the maintain compliance with all statutory requirements relating to the disposal of waste produced as a result of the activities of the vehicle, this includes waste oil, oil filters, brake fluid, batteries, waste paint products etc. Occasionally attending breakdown call out as an when required.
