About Us:
Our client is a well-established construction company, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across multiple sites in the Northeast region. As their operations continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced van driver to join our team and ensure timely delivery of materials to our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver construction materials to various sites across the Durham area.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring they are securely transported.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, conducting routine checks to ensure it is in good working order.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery to support ongoing construction activities.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as road and traffic regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record.
- Proven experience as a van driver, ideally within the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of the Durham area and surrounding regions.
- A CSCS card is preferred.
- Ability to handle heavy materials and perform manual labour as required.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently.
