Your pay rate and working hours as a Delivery Driver:

• Pay rate: From £142 - £165 per day
• Own van required or you can rent the van from DSP
• Shift: Flexible shifts up to 6 shifts per week (9hrs per day)

Your role as a Delivery Driver:

You will deliver a first-class delivery experience to all customers, working in a fast-paced environment and delivering from the Inverness warehouse to customers in the surrounding areas. Manual handling is a major part of working as a Delivery Driver, so you must enjoy some physical work.

Requirements as a full time Delivery Driver:

• You must be aged 21 or above
• You must have a full and valid UK or EU Manual Driving License (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes) for min 1 year
• You need to be self employed
• Parcel delivery experiences is an added advantage
• Previous experience of driving is desirable but not essential. Full paid training will be provided

Morgan Hunt is currently seeking HGV Driver class 2 driver for an ongoing contract across Inverness, Highlands.

In order to be successful for this role:

You need to have a full HGV Class 2 licence and be willing to work both on and off the vehicle.

Ideally have some experience on civils or construction sites but not essential as full training will be given.

These contracts will be long term for a minimum of 5 months with an anticipated start of November.

The operatives generally work Monday to Friday 0800-1630. They'll be undertaking a variety of road maintenance tasks. Although there will be on call rota which is paid additional weekly enhancement. (approx £100 a week)

Weekly pay, Ongoing steady contract, opportunity to be a permanent job at the end of the season.

Basic Hourly rate £17.52 an hour (Umb paye)

Overtime rates - depending on your shifts Time and a 3rd or Time and a half.

• Making multi drop collections and deliveries within the Scotland, Highland area.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 2 Day Driver:

• Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
