What you'll be doing;

• Collect designated domestic waste streams within the Telford & Wrekin borough
  
• Operating vehicles in line with all training, procedures and legal requirements to protect the safety of yourself, your team and the public.
  
• Checking your vehicle for condition and roadworthiness, completing the appropriate forms and reporting any issues immediately.
  
• Ensuring at the end of your shift that the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left hygienic, clear of litter, uniform and personal effects.
  
• Driving and loading a variety of vehicles from 7.5T to 32T

1. Job Purpose To support the clinician in ensuring that the patient pathway is completed within laid down timescale in accordance with policy, procedure and working instruction. Duties and Responsibilities HOME VISIT 4.01To ensure that the clinician is always transported to home visits safely and with all clinical kit available 4.02To maintain contact with despatch throughout home visits, informing them of any delays/detours and always ensuring they are contacted before returning to base 4.03Comprehensively complete vehicle checks as per the Driver and Vehicle Policy and the Vehicle and Kit Log before driving anywhere on shift 4.04Ensure that full clinical kits are available on all home visits and that it is regularly checked and re-stocked in accordance with procedure 4.05To always use the TomTom satnav in the vehicle, even on short, local journeys 4.06Support clinician in locating the front door of properties and assist with carrying of kit 4.07Report all arrival and departure times using the working times function of the TomTom 4.08Provide an escort into the patients home at the request of the clinician if you feel safe and comfortable doing so. We are currently looking for experienced HGV 1 (C+E) drivers to join our friendly transport client in Telford, Shropshire

Drivers for this role must have a minimum of 1 year experience on HGV 1 (C+E). There are day shifts and night shifts available Monday-Sunday.

To be considered for this role you must:

-Complete daily vehicle checks
-Download tacho for every shift
-Have safety boots and hi vis
-Have max 6 points on licence and no convictions
-Hold a valid driving licence, CPC card and driver card
- Be flexible to operating schedules and window of availability

Duties for this HGV 1 (C+E) role include:

-Trunking (depot to depot)
-Timed deliveries
