- Serves as principal advisor to the Director of IHS and other IHS officials. Routinely collaborates with IHS officials at all levels of the Agency regarding- property and supply functions.
- Responsible for the development of new policies, methods and procedures to improve the property and supply management program.
- Advises and provides counsel to DAM staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- Conducts training to IHS Areas and Tribes in accordance with existing public laws as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring the Agency complies with all applicable statutes, laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and standards.
