As a Scheduler, you will be involved in:

• Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations
• Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in concert with Project controls Lead, Project cost consultant and contractor, and in conjunction with Project Execution Plans
• Coordinate and work with project parties to generate master schedules for projects and programs applying resource and cost loading (information availability dependent)
• Preparing labour histograms (information availability dependent)
• Lead and support the project team in the implementation of an integrated enterprise based, cross functional master schedule programs with various party inputs and which may involve multiple projects
• Working closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced without compromising your independence as a planning engineer so you’re in a position to advise project management on issues requiring judgement
• Conduct the required project schedule analysis (including cost and resource loaded schedules), critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole and received from contractors and/or third parties.  Similarly analysis of testing and commissioning schedules will be required.
• Analysis and interrogation of third party labour histograms
• Perform Critical Path Analysis and report
• Analyse deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks / delays and propose corrective actions and report
• Provide interface and quality assurance regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance for reporting purposes and provide oversight tracking and monitoring of schedules
• Ensure that schedule related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of actual projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems
• Analyse and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order raised to enable clarity on change effects
• Prepare the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the Project controls Monthly Project Report and specific reports / presentations
• Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits

This position coordinates and releases materials, meeting production planning objectives in a fast pace manufacturing environment. Using SAP, create material releases and daily schedules to meet production and customer requirements. Provide support to both internal and external customers within the operation. Perform material planning and capacity planning activities required to support production demand; and satisfy customer requirements. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and integrity in accordance with the department goals and objectives.

The Replenishment Driver’s primary job function is to put away and retrieve products from back stock locations for the Receiving and Stocking departments. Summary 

Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies, and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. • Working knowledge or experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to obtain a Secret DOD security clearance.

The Freeport site has 3,500 + employees and is a 24-hour/7-day operation including holidays. Dow is looking for technically capable Distribution Operators who embrace change, adapt quickly and possess self-confidence with leadership skills.

You will work in a unionized environment. And you are a key component to the success of Texas Operations. Site logistics is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of the many products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product to and from rail cars, totes, tank trucks, ships, drums and other modes of transportation.
• Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve technical issues within the plant.
• Monitor tank levels and flow rates to ensure smooth transition of products.
• Fill out and process necessary paper work pertinent to the job.
• Operate pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Train new distribution operators and educate team members.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work a rotating shift.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have a current, valid, United States driver license to drive 4 wheel carts and company vehicles throughout the site.

This role works with the Global Supply Chain leader on Enterprise strategy and leads the BW Packaging Global Supply Chain team in to improve supply chain performance, reduce parts and material costs, and enhance processes and practices in partnership with the BW Global Supply Chain team across the Platform:

• Drive business process improvements and system enhancements for greater control, operating efficiencies, and best practices across the Platform.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members towards better supply chain processes, performance metrics, and business analytics for the Platform.
• Partner with the Group President, Global Supply Chain Leader, and Division leaders to deploy strategic and operational initiatives for the Platform, primarily in the areas of cost improvement and product/parts standardization.
• View performance and improvement initiatives through the broader Platform lens to support resourcing opportunities and leveraging the Divisions to effect decisions and results.
• Reinforce and enable Division performance, standardized processes and practices, and consistent application of policies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Lead deployment of Enterprise strategy into the domestic and international purchasing, sourcing, and logistics functions within divisions with the following responsibilities:

• Leadership – Deploy the transformation strategies as set by the Global BW Supply Chain leader through structural design, process improvements, and systems application to support more effective and efficient supply chain for the Platform. Drive supply chain strategies and teams across Divisions and functions that support global business strategies for growth and performance improvement.
• Supplier Relationship Management – Oversee supplier relationship management and contract negotiations, while closely aligning with B-W Enterprise Supply Chain leadership. Identify and develop supplier relationships with key suppliers based on ongoing business needs as well as strategic Platform goals. Work closely with suppliers and division leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and set strategies to deliver.
• Platform Initiatives – Help prioritize and lead supply chain opportunities initiated by the collective team. Lead teams and direct initiatives to optimize business processes, implement shared services, enhance usage of systems, leverage IT resources, and drive improved overall supply chain performance.  Evaluate resources and skills across the Platform that can benefit the broader team on a specific task, new role, and/or mid-term Project by identifying and bringing the proper resources for prioritized work.
• Strategic Planning – Serve as a resource and sounding board that aligns the Visions, EVA Plans, Budgets, and performance of the Platform while identifying synergies and joint initiatives. Establish objectives for the supply chain function in conjunction with policies and procedures that impact day-to-day operations as well as the long-term strategic direction of the Platform.
• Budget – Partner with Enterprise supply chain, finance and operations leadership to create a comprehensive spend analysis framework and establish short and long-term supply chain budgets for the Platform. Oversee training and communication of supply chain data/tools to team members to ensure a unified approach to data consistency, terminology, and reporting accuracy. Identify cost reduction strategies through supplier relationship management, driving supply chain team member communication across divisions, leveraging data/tools, and establishing best-in-class sourcing strategies.

Required Education and Experience:

• A successful blend of entrepreneurial disposition and established business experience to effectively lead supply chain leaders through building cost disciplines and a continuous improvement mindset to fuel future growth. Ideally, has led previous global supply chain groups, divisions, acquisitions, etc.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field with 10 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain leadership.
• MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management and APICS designation preferred.
• Executive presence, dynamic interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and integrity.
• Excellent team building and change management skills, with the leadership skillset to recruit, train, coach, and mentor top-quality team members at both Platform and operating business level.
• Strong problem solving skills, an empathetic demeanor, strategic thinking skills for assessing needs and recommending changes.
• A strong working knowledge of domestic and international supply chain principles, MRP-driven operations, business intelligence, and effective business processes across all functions.
• Experience in a global manufacturing in a multi-business/entity and multi-currency environment, ideally in a complex machine assembly environment.
• A solid understanding of supply chain management software tools and the ability to communicate and work well with IT teams to implement changes and improvements.
