Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot. Assessments available Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd November 2024 for 06:00.
Position: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £17.00 - £18.63 per hour
Hours: Start times vary, typically between 08:00 - 14:00
Days: Available 5 out of 7 days. Weekend availability is required due to nature of the business
Role includes, and not limited to:
- Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
- Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations
Requirements:
- Class 1 licence with a minimum 12 months driving experience
- No more than 9 points on your licence
- Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
- Valid CPC card and digital tacho card
