My career at Myerscough College – Inspiring Excellence
Are you passionate about agriculture and looking for a unique opportunity to work on a progressive farm? Myerscough College Farms is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic tractor driver to join our team.
Our farm spans 750 acres and features a diverse mix of livestock enterprises, including dairy, sheep, beef, and arable farming. We've made significant investments in cutting-edge technology, such as the John Deere 185, JCB 525-60, Harvest Lab, and a Self-Propelled Diet Feeder.
As a tractor driver, you’ll be an integral part of our team, contributing to all aspects of the farm’s operations. Your role will involve diet feeding and extensive fieldwork, where you'll have the chance to demonstrate and promote sustainable farming practices during practical teaching sessions.
We offer comprehensive training for the right candidate, and while mechanical skills are a plus, they’re not a requirement. Accommodation is available, and we're open to candidates interested in either full-time or part-time roles, including job share options. Please note that College Farms’ needs will be the primary focus.
Our farm staff enjoy alternate weekends off, which includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, we’d love to hear from you. For an informal conversation, please ring Andrea Gardner M: 07921020655.
Please note that as part of our commitment to safeguarding our students, our background screening checks include limited online searches. Online searches will only be undertaken in respect of the successful candidate, as a pre-conditional term of our job offer.

All successful applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment background and safeguarding checks.
The successful applicant will be responsible for complying with all safeguarding policies and practices, and for ensuring student safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of everything they do.
