The Regulatory Standards Governance, Communications and Reporting Officer will be part of Citi’s Global Regulatory Engagement (GRE) team within Citibank, N.A. and NAM, and report directly to the Governance, Communications and Reporting Lead. The Governance, Communications and Reporting Officer will support Citi’s engagement with its regulators globally in order to strategically monitor, track and integrate Citi’s overall regulatory strategy and engagement with the Business, Functional, and Cluster Regulatory Management Leads and Coordinators.
Citi’s GRE team is responsible for the engagement strategy in coordination with the business, functional, and regional regulatory engagement leads, across all of Citi’s U.S.-based prudential and capital markets supervisors. This role provides a unique opportunity to see across Citi as a part of the GRE team, which is charged with enhancing our engagements with regulators in order to transform how we conduct business at the foundational level.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and issuing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on regulatory actions and routines, including analysis and preparation of dashboards, metrics, and presentation materials.
- Supporting Regulatory Standards and GRE leads with ad hoc and periodic reporting needs and meeting preparation.
- Analyzing and summarizing regulatory exam and action information to effectively communicate status, key highlights, and watch items to senior management within GRE and across the organization.
- Providing regular updates to management regarding regulatory matters and potential matters of concern, including issuance of regular reporting and communications to senior management.
- Leading and partnering in cross-workstream communications initiatives in close partnership with GRE and Business and Functional Regulatory Management teams globally to facilitate and drive appropriate and timely management escalation and understanding of current and emerging regulatory trends.
- Creating and maintaining standardized regulatory exam management tools and templates to drive consistency and best practices in regulatory exam management, deliverables, and responses across Citi’s Business and Function Regulatory Management teams.
- Maintaining reporting and materials consistently via Teams, SharePoint or other controlled central repositories.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting controls, efficiency, and effectiveness via manual and automated means.
- Participating in and supporting reporting-related enhancement activities including documentation, review, testing, and providing subject matter expertise as needed.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Citi’s Global Regulatory Engagement (GRE) Policy, Standards, and Procedures
- Experience with or previous exposure to Citi’s Regulatory Engagement Tracking (RET) system, internal control functions and regulators
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
- Effective written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
- Advanced analytical skills
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members
- Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree; experience in regulatory, compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus
Experience coordinating regulatory exams or internal audits preferred.
