JOB SUMMARY

This position requires an individual who is familiar with RMF and the software systems engineering process. Our new colleague will work with the cyber security and systems engineering team to ensure the artifacts required for the RMF process are in place as we work to get our supported systems accredited.

This individual will collaborate with the cyber security team to maintain computer and information security incident, damage and threat assessment programs. The candidate will investigate computer and information security incidents to determine extent of compromise to information and automated information systems, network assessments, researching and maintaining proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption.

In addition, duties may include designing, recommending integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected, participating with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs, and configuring and validating secure systems, testing security products/systems to detect computer and information security weakness.

The person in this position will lead the team in developing new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the established cyber security processes.

Strong communication skills are a must since this position requires coordination between multiple contractor teams, the government and Leidos systems engineers.

Your Main Objective:

This person will serve as a the lead of the Joint Service Provider (JSP) Cyber Security Watch Office on the DISA GSM-O program supporting the JSP Joint Network Operation and Support Center (JNOSC) and Cyber Center Security Chief. The Cyber Security Watch Office is the single point of entry for all Cyber Security related information, tasks, orders, alerts, warnings, notices and products from higher headquarters into JSP. This office also maintains and shares situational awareness on all security related developments pertinent to JSP.  Additionally, this person will manage a team of onsite staff and provide technical direction and support to Leidos program staff.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure CSWO support to the JNOSC Battle Captain and Cyber Center Security Chief for all Cyber Defense and Network Assurance issues.
• Supervise and schedule manning for 24x7 shifts and any additional required surge support 
• Create, update, and maintain CSWO standard operating procedures
• Validate CSWOs maintain awareness of all pertinent directives, orders, alerts, and messages; prepare and deliver daily situational awareness and operational update briefings. 
• Serve as Senior Defensive Cybersecurity SME and technical lead during 24x7 operations.
• Supports program/site objectives.  Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude toward innovation and change.
• Respond to team members as first line escalation point for onsite issues.
• Escalate issues to Program Manager, as appropriate.
• Communicates program expectations to team members and stakeholders.  Ensures team members meet objectives/complete assignments within stated timelines.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to direct reports.
• Manage administrative duties for team, to include team scheduling, time-off requests, coordinating training, special initiatives, etc.
• Handles other administrative tasks, as necessary (gathering status information, monitoring team compliance with Corporate initiatives, helping to produce status charts, etc.).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of professional experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of technical experience, with demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intelligence driven defense and/or Cyber Kill Chain methodology.
• Must have certifications that satisfy DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 and CSSP Analyst upon start.
• Demonstrated knowledge of order processing and tracking throughout a large organization and correlating reports for other organizations.
• Demonstrated experience with leading and directing work of onsite team, to include managing shift workers.

The Challenge:

As a Business Process Engineer (BPE), you will play a key role in addressing the developing, configuring and optimizing processes of System and Software engineering life cycle. The BPE will analyze existing processes and schedules, identify areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance operational performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity. What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to ten (10) years of experience. Four (4) years of additional scheduling experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Twelve (12) years experience as a Scheduler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certification for the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) and/or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) will be required prior to starting. Leidos will help you obtain this certification.
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience managing a schedule for an engineering program involving hardware and software development and multiple sub-components using MS Project or Primavera. As an ISSE III, you will join a small team of senior professionals providing Information Assurance (IA) Architecture Analysis and Security Engineering Support for the implementation and fielding of the National Leadership Command Capability in support of Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Continuity of Government (COG), and Senior Leader communications. Primary Responsibilities:

The BD lead is directly responsible for contributing to the development and management of a robust qualified pipeline focused on CYBERCOM.  The qualified pipeline must be linked to both near and long-term business strategies that provide the business an opportunity to grow revenue. The CSS Operation at Leidos is seeking a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment with a team of Cyber Engineers in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, prototyping, design, development, integration, and test tasks to develop capabilities against various networking devices.  This work will leverage your ability to deconstruct and tear-down of a variety of hardware and software, focusing on network devices and technologies, and developing capabilities to utilize the vulnerabilities discovered.
