Job Description
You will play a key role in developing the next generation of Ultrasound Transducers, improving lives worldwide, pushing the boundaries of diagnostic imaging and interventional guidance
Work in an R&D environment, supporting the design and development of innovative Ultrasound Transducers
Your role:
Design and development of next-generation Ultrasound Digital Transducer
- Design and integration of electronic circuits within state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging transducers including analog and digital designs according to the V-model that serve user and business requirements amongst others by applying internal and external research results and technology advancements while taking care of the total system as well as inner workings of a design.
- Participation in the development of Transducer technologies, ranging from advanced development and product development of our ultrasound transducers to advance transducer capabilities and driving improved image quality.
- Participation as a technical contributor in dynamic cross-discipline transducer product development teams, including ASIC design, System Signal Path, and Transducer design.
You're the right fit if:
- 8+ years’ experience focused on design, development, testing, and integration of transistor-level IC design and layout of complex mixed-signal circuits and systems-on-chip; RF circuit experience a plus.
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar disciplines (MS/PhD desired)
- Knowledge of ultrasound imaging technology, including Ultrasound systems, transducers, wave propagation, beamforming, antenna design/modeling, optimal acquisition design, signal, and image processing.
- Familiarity with trade-off analysis/optimization and common layout issues such as noise, power vs. performance, dynamic range, and device mismatch.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position is $120,000.00- $220,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
