The hours of work and shift patterns are: Monday - Friday 14:30 - 22:30

The rates of pay are: £12.99

Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will ensure stock accuracy, control wastage, and align stock availability with production and planning.

You will be a key player in optimising our stock control processes, reducing inefficiencies, and ensuring correct stocks are published. You main responsibilities will be :

• Manage stock levels for both bulk raw materials and retail finished products, ensuring correct date rotation is followed.
• Oversee regular stock counts, including cycle counting and full stock audits, ensuring accuracy in stock records.
• Coordinate stock replacements according to the plan and ensure the correct stock controls of materials incoming from suppliers.
• Monitor and document all stock movements within the factory chillers, ensuring full traceability of stock.
• Maintain communication with production management.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, working closely with relevant teams to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
• Produce and analyse stock reports to provide insights into stock usage, wastage, and forecasting.
• Implement and continuously improve stock control systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure all stock control activities adhere to relevant health, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the technical and investigate traceability of material.

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, ideally with both raw materials and retail products.
• Strong knowledge of stock control systems and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Familiarity with food industry regulations, especially around raw material handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads occasionally

As Production Quality Control Manager you will report to the Head of Operation and be responsible for supporting the production team. These will include:

• Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the team
• Identifying and proactively removing any potential health and safety risks
• Reporting and conducting investigations in line with company policies
• Controlling the product quality and standards required under contract and customer specifications by leading a team of Champions as they complete various roles and ensuring the smooth day-to-day service of the business and customers is maintained
• Communicating team objectives and goals and ensuring the Champions team completes tasks to the agreed standards and specifications
• Producing and delivering presentations directly to the end customer
• Attending customer sites and premises and representing the business
• Conducting and leading customer-quality panels
• Conducting audits aligned to specifications to ensure compliance with contractual and business standards
• Providing feedback to peer managers on concerns and benefits to identified standards and processing
• Working with the Operational and Technical teams on specifications
• Handling first-level HR responsibilities for the team, such as return to work, absence management, and performance management
• Investing your time in coaching and developing the Champions and your fellow peers on what good looks like to ensure the highest standard of service is delivered across the required operational working hours
• Ensuring that the skill set within the entire Champion team is maximized to cover every aspect of business requirements with contingency and upskilling for absences and holidays, optimizing service and efficiency
• Working alongside operational and function teams, FLMs, engineers and technicians, liaising with contractors, and executing plans safely and efficiently
