Job Description:
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician / Nursing Assistant to serve in our Medical Oncology practice at South University Clinic in Fargo. This employee works four days a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, for a total of 32 hours weekly. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required.
LPN/Medical Assistant ($19.55, or higher with experience):
Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
Clinic Care Technician/PCT/CNA ($15.63, or higher with experience):
The Clinic Care Technician is primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily patient flow in the clinic setting. These duties may include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in patient chart, stocking, and cleaning exam room, ordering and maintaining clinic supplies, assisting with clerical duties, and all other duties as assigned. This position may float to support other areas as assigned.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- LPN: ND LPN license required upon hire, MN LPN license required within 3 months of hire.
- Medical Assistant: certified as a Medical Assistant, or completed Medical Assistant program with the ability to be certified within one year, within two attempts; must also be registered as an MA-III with the ND BON.
- Clinic Care Tech/CNA/PCT: registered as a CNA or NA with the state of ND is preferred.
- All: BCLS required within 3 months of hire.
