We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in VIC.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Responsible for company purchasing from requisitions through submitting invoices to Accounts payable.
• Performing account reconciliations with account statements.
• Assist to produce monthly financial and management reports.
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries.
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
• Managing pre-payment, post payment, intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
• Assisting Finance controller to maintain the Fixed Asset Register with accuracy and diligence.
• Assist to maintain timecards and process the weekly wages.
• Process monthly credit cards payments reconciliations and ledger postings.
• Responsible for generating invoices to intercompany recharges.
• Liaise with head office and site staff as needed on accounts payable matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:
• 2 + years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Tertiary qualification to bachelor's degree level in Accounting/Finance
• Excellent attention to detail with accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to meet deadlines and cope under pressure.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Computer literate; knowledge of Attache/ MYOB or similar accounting software is an asset
