With the ongoing success of GEA milking systems, GEA FT UK are now seeking a motivated and passionate person to join their support team in their ever expanding market. You will advise and support our dealer network and farmers on how to get the best results possible. 

Responsibilities

• The main focus of the role is to build and maintain excellent relationships with the dealers, farmers, and customers of GEA.

• With your expertise knowledge on herd management, you will advise farmers on how to get the best from their robots and conventional parlours.

• With the intention of helping them to manage their operation and assist them in meeting their goals.

• You will be required to help advise on pre and post installations on customer sites.

• This role is home based and will require travel throughout the UK.

• You will continue to offer guidance and support throughout the lifetime of the installations.

Your Profile / Qualifications

The Requirements

• A very good understanding on farm and herd management is essential, with a focus on feeding and cow physiology.

• Direct experience and or a strong professional understanding of the agricultural industry.

• Experience of using herd management software.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• User of Microsoft Office.

• Highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work alone and within a team.

• Must hold a current clean driving licence.
