What will a day in this role look like:
 

• Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the development and construction phases of wind farm and other renewable energy technology projects.
• Support project teams in understanding and mitigating risks associated with renewable energy projects.
• Oversee the design process of wind farms to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Support the development and preparation of bids for renewable energy projects, including technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Be a technical practice leader for wind farm projects nationally, ensuring best practices and knowledge dissemination across the organisation

The role of Director - Structures (VSA) is the leadership position for our bridges and underground structures business across the VSA region. Based in Melbourne, this role sits on the Civil Infrastructure Leadership team - VSA. Reporting directly to the Group Director (CI VSA) this role is responsible for Structures Team culture, performance, staff, clients, and projects. Drawing on your design and major projects delivery experience you will have a desired to lead and build a structures team servicing both major projects and key clients. You are a strong collaborator and work well with teams at multiple levels, drawing on your leadership, client service and technical experience.  

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical leader for the Structures team ensuring you develop and share knowledge with other employees.
• Winning and/or delivery of projects or business results, across the range of people, clients, and excellence indicators.
• Lead major transport infrastructure projects in a structures capacity and meet delivery requirements.
• Project and design management excellence.
• Establish and maintains effective relationships with clients/customers.
• Take responsibility for delivery of individual projects including technical quality, budget, and programme.
• Ensure delivery of projects in accordance with AECOM’s Project Delivery Framework requirements.
• Create, maintain, and lead high performing engaged teams through effective communication, feedback, and support of all team members.
