About the Position
What you need to know:
This role involves working as a partner and subject matter expert in all aspects of benefits programs, professional development, general HR inquiries, payroll and reporting. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner very closely with the HR Manager to ensure high-caliber HR solutions that are seamlessly delivered to all employees.
- Manages all aspects of the benefits and pension schemes, including operational responsibilities, interactions with employees and 3rd parties, as well as liaising and aligning with the CoE owners.
- Partner with the business on professional development requirements, helping to identify development needs, and supporting delivery, or sourcing, of the appropriate training solution.
- Play a key role in continuously improving the employee experience. Among other priorities, you will work on enhancing the employee value proposition as an attraction and retention tool, promoting existing resources, improving them, and making recommendations for updates.
- Act as the local owner and main point of contact for 3rd parties supporting the delivery of HR services, serving as the first point of escalation and resolution in CRBG (e.g. HR shared services, payroll, etc.)
- As needed, you will support the induction of new hires into the business, helping them to make the most of the range of tools to enhance their employee experience.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be able to respond to employee queries on benefits, professional development, general HR and resolve any issues as the subject matter expert.
- A working knowledge of the Apprenticeship Levy, and working with education institutions on providing development opportunities across a wide range of skills. Managing all aspects of the UK Apprenticeship tuition support process, including adherence to the policy, the application process, and Government inspections.
- An understanding of employee benefits and the value of an appropriate employee value proposition to the attraction and retention of employees.
- The ability to liaise and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, both in the business as well as HR functions.
- Experience of administration of pensions and benefits and completing annual renewals of Pensions, Group Life, Income Protection, Private Medical and Medical Assessments.
- Strong project management / organisational skills with attention to detail, systems and processes. Experience of onboarding and managing existing and new training providers to meet the needs of the business would be an advantage.
- You will be working closely with US counter parts, as well as external consultants and suppliers.
- A confident presenter who can support the induction of employees to the business and share the details of the benefits and professional development opportunities available.
- The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter who is happy to be involved in the admin and details as well as the higher-level influencing and strategy in conjunction with the Head of HR.
