Alexander Downs is a family farming enterprise situated in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Our operations are spread across 4 locations and consist of farming, feed mill, meat wholesale, meat processing and retail butchers. At Alexander Downs, family values are at our core. We would not produce anything we wouldn’t be happy to feed to our own families. We select the optimum livestock genetics for our production system, use animal welfare best practice and ensure environmental stewardship.
Alexander Downs now has an exciting opportunity for process knifehand /Labourers to join our Meat Processing team based in Kurri Kurri, NSW.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Have experience in processing beef and mutton
Carry out general labouring task on our meat processing floor
And other duties as required by the Floor supervisor.
Key Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience working within the meat industry
Commitment to safety;
Reliable, punctual and motivated individual;
Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
