About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and be proficient in CAD software. You will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D models for a variety of mechanical components and systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical drawings under architect/engineer guidance in detailed 3D and/or 2D using CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, AutoCAD)
• Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, including bills of materials and assembly drawings
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into clear and concise drawings
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and ensure that team members are consistently well informed about the progress and timeline
• Perform calculations and analyses to verify design accuracy and feasibility
• Detail-oriented in performing tasks
• Able to prioritize and organize work effectively in timely manner

• Complete tertiary or technical qualifications. SMK and/or D3 and/or Bachelor minoring in Mechanical and Electrical Drawings are welcomed
• Having minimum 1 year work experiences (Fresh graduates are welcomed)
• Advanced in using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Having experience as an estimator and drafter would be a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Having experience in Sketchup will be an advantage
• Having personal laptop device that can support work requirements
