We have an exciting opportunity at our Independent school site in Winchester, for a Chef to join the team at Accent.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, shifts are 5 over 7, either 7.00am to 3.30pm or 11.30am to 8.00pm, some
evenings and weekends

£14.50 per hour

Starting as soon as possible.

The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the
best possible lunch experience. You will also be cooking for teachers and support staff. You will be working with a team of staff
and supporting senior chefs with day-to-day kitchen duties, reporting to the Chef Manager.

To be successful in this role you will be:

* An absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very-hands on role and you will be required to cook.

* Exceptional standards in all aspects of food service; attention to detail is vital

* Proven track record in a high volume, quality catering establishment

* Good communication and IT skills

* Willing to learn and grow in the workplace

* Innovative person with a positive out going disposition and a can-do approach

* Proven track record of continually improving standards and achieving targets is essential

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills to ensure a good
client relationship and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
