The Role
Engage & Enroll: Proactively connect with individuals through activity sessions, guiding them towards the transformative Rossendale Works project.
Break Barriers: Support participants in overcoming obstacles and negative employment perceptions, paving the way for a brighter future.
Community Collaboration: Forge essential partnerships with local services, such as JCP, social prescribers, and recovery agencies, ensuring a seamless network of support.
Employer Engagement: Reach out to Rossendale-based employers, sourcing job vacancies and work placements for Rossendale Works participants.
Ongoing Support: Maintain a strong link between employers and participants on placement, offering continuous support for successful outcomes.
Team Collaboration: Communicate employment opportunities to the Rossendale Works team, fostering a unified approach towards community development.
Linking Communities: Develop crucial connections to provide opportunities and support for those seeking employment, training, or education.
Elevate Rossendale: Collaborate closely with the Rossendale Borough Council Economic Team, strengthening ties between local businesses and the Rossendale Works project.
Drive Change: Take charge of maintaining and expanding employer links, facilitating work placements, and championing the Rossendale Works initiative.
