Risk and Compliance Officer - Banking
Location: Central London (Office Based)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Our client is a leading foreign bank, they are recruiting a Risk and Compliance Officer to join their team.This role will report into the Compliance Manager and support the department with all compliance reporting and monitoring.
You will be responsible for:
- Report any deficiencies in the Bank's policies or practices regarding Compliance to the Compliance Manager and, where applicable, to the Head of Department.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and new rules from the FCA, PRA, and PSR, and educate the business on these updates.
- Contribute to enhancing the Bank's risk-based approach to Compliance Monitoring.
- Propose and implement amendments and enhancements to policy and procedures.
- Report any breaches in the Bank's policies, procedures, or regulatory requirements.
- Assist in producing Compliance reports for review at Senior Management and Board Director levels.
- Provide additional support to the Compliance Manager as required.
- Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of the FCA handbook and the PRA Rulebook.
- Execute the Bank's Regulatory Compliance monitoring programme.
- Help design the compliance monitoring program, generate reports, and provide recommendations.
- Identify compliance risks associated with the bank's business activities and propose mitigation strategies.
- Follow up on resolution of compliance issues arising from monitoring, with clear recommendations and timelines for remediation.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working as a Risk Officer, Risk &Compliance Officer,Risk &Compliance Analyst, orin a similarrole within aBank
- Financial Services experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of the FCA handbook and the PRA Rulebook.
- Strong numeric and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
