Regional Studio lead
Adyen is looking for a strategic, hands-on and creative Studio manager. This role will work from Adyen office and report directly to the VP of Creative with a dotted line to the regional VP of marketing.
As a regional Studio lead, you are responsible for driving effective production of content, design and other creative projects as a part of the Global Studio. In this role, you’ll be the conduit between global Studio leadership and the creative talent in the region. Your responsibilities include leading content writers and designers through traffic management and reviewing and developing creative work. A key aspect of this role is to drive best practices - from briefing processes to templates and creative reviews; whether through implementing learnings from other teams or surfacing what works well locally and elevating those learnings into the global ways of working.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of how to develop creative assets that meet marketing goals and business priorities. You are adept at balancing the creative process with meeting project deadlines in a cost effective manner, and know how to coach others to do the same. This is a matrixed role collaborating across the APAC and Global Studio leadership.
What you’ll do:
● Define and drive the regional content strategy to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and demand generation
● Oversee and lead the APAC Studio team on the development of content deliverables across the product user experience, customer lifecycle, and across channels (email marketing, social media, case studies, blogs and other key touchpoints)
● Track & optimize the effectiveness of the content and creative strategy
● Be a critical partner with country marketing team to ideate and align content strategy to commercial goals and marketing initiatives
● Work closely with Global Studio to ensure quality, clarity and global consistency with brand guidelines and tone, including adoption and implementation of workflows and templates
● Manage in-house and external writing resources and ensure that projects are consistently on-brand, on-message, and are delivered on-schedule.
● Integrate the content marketing with PR and Brand campaigns to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent globally in terms of style, quality
● Collaborate with local & global teams of Studio, country marketing managers, content marketing, designers, product marketing managers, commercial teams sales and agencies to produce inspiring and relevant content and marketing materials
● Shape and optimize the APAC Studio team for success, including coaching and development, driving visibility of regional projects, and inspiring the team to achieve a higher level of creative
Who you are:
● Minumum 10 years of experience working with content, design or the creative arts. You have strategic sensibilities and are able to elevate performance against marketing goals and business priorities through creative projects.
● Proven ability to coach and mentor others, driving great results while inspiring and motivating your team
● Balance between strategic & hands-on: from developing a plan to execution and optimization.
● You are comfortable reviewing creative assets for different audiences and objectives. Experience managing the cost of creative, and always looking for scalable and cost effective solutions.
● You are a competent project manager who can drive creative projects from brief to completion.
● You are a collaborative team player that thrives in a fast paced international environment with a demonstrated track record of driving impact through creative.
● You are a self-starting and self-motivated contributor with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
● Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement
● Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20%+
